RAFTER SPAN ADJUSTMENT

• Select Roof Rafter at Plan module.


• Enter rafter span at Beam module.


• Return to Plan module to enter roof pitch, thickness of exterior walls, and height of ceiling joists above the wall plate.

Changing wall thickness and joist height will show correct span adjustment without clicking on Recalculate.

If the adjustment is less than 1.0, make further adjustments to the roof pitch, joist height, span or wall thickness.
