LIVE and DEAD LOADS

Default weights indicated are typical residential code requirements. Modify live and dead loads for each level as needed.

Weights in red are currently active for the beam location selected.

For WBS Basic version, roof live load is set at either the ground snow load entered at the Plan module, or the code minimum construction live load, whichever is greater.

SNOW LOAD OPTIONS

When roof loads are active for headers, WBS lists the possible snow load reductions based on snow drifting or sliding off or being blown off the roof, as selected at the Plan module.
